Abstract
The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) hereby releases the Producer Price Indices (PPI) for the fourth quarter of 2025. The PPI measures the average change over time in the selling prices received by domestic producers for their output. The year-on-year producer inflation rate recorded in December 2025 was -2.43 per cent, with the Producer Price Indices (PPI) reaching 134.18 during the same period. Figure 1 and Table 1 illustrate the trends in year-on-year producer inflation and corresponding PPI values from September 2022 to December 2025. Based on the trend presented, the inflation rate in March 2025 had the lowest producer price recorded with a drop of -5.67 per cent.
