Economic Value of Unpaid Domestic and Care Work in Kenya 2025
Abstract
Baseline estimates of the economic value of unpaid domestic and care work (UDCW) in Kenya, compiled through a Household Satellite Account using data from the 2021 Kenya Time Use Survey, and guided by SDG indicator 5.4.1, the Beijing Platform for Action and the ILO 5R framework for decent care work. The item includes the main report, a popular version and the technical note on the estimation methodology.
