Kenya Consumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates August 2016
Abstract
Monthly statistical release of the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates for Kenya for August 2016. The CPI increased by 0.08 per cent from 170.84 in July 2016 to 170.97 in August 2016. The overall inflation rate stood at 6.26 per cent in August 2016. The release presents one-month and twelve-month changes in the price indices by broad commodity group.
