Kenya Consumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates February 2012
Abstract
Monthly statistical release of the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates for Kenya for February 2012. The CPI decreased by 0.04 per cent from 130.82 in January 2012 to 130.76 in February 2012. The overall inflation rate stood at 16.69 per cent in February 2012. The release presents one-month and twelve-month changes in the price indices by broad commodity group, based on prices collected from selected retail outlets in 25 data collection zones in 13 urban centres.
