Kenya Consumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates November 2009
Abstract
Monthly statistical release of the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates for Kenya for November 2009. The CPI computed using the new geometric mean approach increased by 0.19 percent from 141.21 points in October 2009 to 141.50 points in November 2009. Month-on-month overall inflation rate stood at 5.0 percent in November 2009 compared to 6.6 percent in October 2009 as shown in Table1 below. The release presents one-month and twelve-month changes in the price indices by broad commodity group.
