Kenya Consumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates September 2009
Abstract
Monthly statistical release of the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates for Kenya for September 2009. The CPI increased by 1.1 percent from 341.19 points in August 2009 to 345.03 points in September 2009. Month-on-month overall inflation rate decreased from 18.4 percent in August 2009 to 17.9 percent in September 2009. The release presents one-month and twelve-month changes in the price indices by broad commodity group.
