Kenya Consumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates June 2009
Abstract
Monthly statistical release of the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates for Kenya for June 2009. The CPI decreased by 1.8 percent from 348.76 points in May 2009 to 342.38 points in June 2009. Month-on-month overall inflation rate decreased from 19.5 percent in May 2009 to 17.8 percent in June 2009. The release presents one-month and twelve-month changes in the price indices by broad commodity group.
