Kenya Consumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates May 2009
Abstract
Monthly statistical release of the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates for Kenya for May 2009. The CPI decreased by 1.9 percent from 355.36 points in April 2009 to 348.76 points in May 2009. Month-on-month overall inflation rate decreased from 26.1 percent in April 2009 to 19.5 percent in May 2009. The release presents one-month and twelve-month changes in the price indices by broad commodity group.
