Kenya Consumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates December 2008
Abstract
Monthly statistical release of the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates for Kenya for December 2008. The CPI increased by 1.5 percent from 301.79 points in November 2008 to 306.28 points in December 2008. Month-on-month overall inflation rate decreased from 29.4 percent in November 2008 to 27.7 percent in December 2008. The release presents one-month and twelve-month changes in the price indices by broad commodity group.
