Gross County Product 2023
Abstract
The 2023 Gross County Product (GCP) report, the third in the series, updates the size of county economies and their contribution to total gross value added for 2018-2022, with analysis by broad economic activity (agriculture, industry and services). Seventeen counties registered average real GCP growth above the national average of 4.6 per cent over the period. Estimates were derived using a top-down method with distribution keys from administrative sources, censuses and surveys.
