Performance Monitoring for Action (PMA) Kenya: Results from Phase 2 Panel Survey, November-December 2020
Abstract
Key findings from the PMA Kenya Phase 2 panel survey (November-December 2020) on contraceptive dynamics among women aged 15-49 between Phase 1 (December 2019) and Phase 2. Contraceptive use increased between the two phases; women who intended to use contraception in Phase 1 were twice as likely to adopt a method by Phase 2, and the share using long-acting methods remained stable while short-acting method use rose by six percentage points.
