Comsumer Price Indices and Inflation Rates May 2017
Abstract
Kenya National Bureau of Statistics hereby releases Consumer Price Indices (CPI)and rates of inflation for May, 2017. These numbers have been generated using data collected during the second and third weeks of the month under review. Price changes, therefore, experienced in the first or fourth week of the month are not included in the analysis. The prices were obtained from selected retailoutlets in 25 data collection zones which are in Nairobi and in 13 other urban centers.
