Remarks on the Launch of Preliminary Report of the 2003 Kenya Demographic and Health Survey
Abstract
The Government of Kenya through the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) in the Ministry of Planning and National Development and other collaborators, undertook the 4th Kenya Demographic and Health Survey (KDHS) in 2003. It was a follow-up of other KDHSs conducted in 1989, 1993 and 1998. The survey was supported by development partners mainly USAID, DFID, UNDP, UNFPA, UNICEF, JICA and technical assistance from MACRO International.
