National Agriculture Production Report 2025
Abstract
The National Agriculture Production Report 2025 presents statistics on Kenya's agricultural production for 2024 and trends from 2020, covering food crops, horticulture (vegetables, fruits, medicinal and aromatic plants and flowers), industrial crops (coffee, tea, sugarcane, sisal, cotton, pyrethrum and miraa), livestock and trade, with county-level detail. Agriculture contributed 22.5 per cent of Kenya's GDP in 2024 and remains a major source of employment, livelihoods and foreign exchange earnings.
