| dc.description.abstract | The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics hereby releases Construction Input Price Indices (CIPI) for the third quarter of 2025. CIPI measures the price changes in the inputs that are consumed/used in the construction process. The main inputs into construction projects are classified into materials, labour, equipment and transport. The indices are generated from price data collected quarterly from a representative sample of outlets that trade in construction materials. The CIPI and inflation rates are as shown in Tables 1 and 2. In the thirdquarter of 2025, the Construction Input Price Indices increased to 121.27 up from 119.75 in the second quarter, translating to a quarter-on-quartergrowth of 1.27 per cent. | |
