Kenya 1999 Population and Housing Census-Analytical Report on Population Projections
Abstract
This volume presents two sets of short-run population projections with and without HIV/AID S for Kenya up to 2020. Th e input data fed into the projection mode l are fertility and mortality estimates derived from past censuses and national surveys. Information on HIV/AID S mortality was based on 26 sentinel surveillance sites spread across the country.
