Economic Survey Popular Version 2020

The Popular Version is based on a master set of data on the 2020 Economic Survey publication that has been compiled by the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS). It is an easy to read publication with highlights on economic performance and indicators in 2019. The Economic Survey is an annual publication focusing on the socio-economic highlights of the economy for the last five years. The report forms an important source of input into the budgeting, planning, monitoring and policy formulation processes with guidance to national development policy and investment decisions. Finally, it gives an analysis of data collected through Administrative sources supplemented by surveys and censuses.
