Poverty Report Based on the 2019 Kenya Continuous Household Survey

Poverty report based on the first year (2019) of the Kenya Continuous Household Survey Programme (KCHSP), which KNBS began in 2019 to provide annual and quarterly indicators at national and county level. It estimates monetary poverty and inequality, profiles the poor and non-poor by age, gender and employment status, assesses changes since the 2015/16 KIHBS and estimates vulnerability to poverty to inform social protection, labour and development policy under Vision 2030 and the Big Four Agenda.
