Gross County Product 2025
Abstract
The Gross County Product (GCP) 2025 report, the fifth in the series, presents updated estimates of the economic performance of Kenya's 47 counties for 2020-2024, analysing regional economic structures, growth trends and contributions to national output, and incorporating selected social and economic indicators that complement monetary measures. Economic activity remains concentrated: Nairobi City County accounted for 27.4 per cent of gross value added in 2024, followed by Kiambu.
