dc.description.abstract	The main objective of the Census of Industrial Production (CIP) 2018 was to collect data on the structure and characteristics of the industrial and construction sectors of the economy. The data was used to update the industrial and construction sectors and to provide information required for revision and rebasing of National Accounts. The data also provides requisite inputs for the computation of the Index of Industrial Production (IIP), Construction Input Price Indices (CIPIs), Producer Price Indices (PPIs); and Export and Import Price Indices (XMPIs). In addition, the data will be used as a sampling frame for conducting industrial and construction surveys.
