2025 Remittances Household Survey Report
Abstract
Report of the 2025 Remittances Household Survey (RHS), conducted by KNBS with the Central Bank of Kenya and FSD Kenya, the first comprehensive nationwide assessment of household remittance inflows and outflows in Kenya. It measures cash and in-kind remittances received from and sent abroad and within Kenya through formal and informal channels, their magnitude, sources, uses and costs, filling gaps in administrative data that mainly capture formal cash inflows.
