Kenya Residential Property Price Index - April 2026
Abstract
Inaugural report of the Kenya Residential Property Price Index (RPPI), a measure of changes in market prices of residential properties independent of changes in property characteristics, covering the first quarter of 2022 to the fourth quarter of 2025 for apartments and stand-alone houses. Developed with the Central Bank of Kenya and the Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development, the RPPI supports monitoring of housing market trends and affordability and informs economic and financial policy.
